Central Flagstaff consists of the neighborhoods around downtown central core of Flagstaff as well as Northern Arizona University. This map will contain neighborhoods from Cheshire on the north, to Ponderosa Trails on the south, to Presidio on the west and Switzer Mesa/Canyon on the east.
The eastern portions of Flagstaff will be shown on this map. South of Interstate 40, a large portion is part of the Continental Country Club neighborhoods. North of Interstate 40 are neighborhoods adjacent to the Route 66 and Fourth St. business districts and neighborhoods along the base of Mt. Elden.
These neighborhoods are located east and north of the Flagstaff city limits. This map will show neighborhoods adjacent to Highway 89 North, and east along Townsend Winona Road and Interstate 40 to Leupp Road and Winona. Many properties here have acreage and are ideal for horses. Most properties also have very beautiful, dramatic views of the eastern side of the San Francisco Peaks and Mt. Elden.
This map shows areas and communities that are south of the Flagstaff city limits along Interstate 17, Highway 89A, and Lake Mary Road. These neighborhoods have a high concentration of second-home owners who like to get away from the heat of the lower elevations in the summer months. Forest Highlands Golf Country Club is also included on this map.
All of the neighborhoods shown on this map are accessible by taking Highway 180 north from Flagstaff and are all located northwest of the limits. These areas have dramatic views of the southwestern side of the San Francisco Peaks. The main attraction in this area is the Arizona Snowbowl as well as numerous hiking and mountain biking locations.
This map shows neighborhoods and areas west of the Flagstaff city limits along Interstate 40. This area is more heavily forested and includes the Flagstaff Ranch Golf Community. About 10 minutes west of Flagstaff is the community of Bellemont which includes single-family tract homes and townhomes.
This map shows the sections and areas of Parks, a small community located between Flagstaff and Williams on Interstate 40. Parks is heavily forested with sections of vast open prairie lands with magnificent views of the San Francisco Peaks.
